Job Responsibility

Continuous observation and analysis of patients' cardiac rhythms to detect and report changes
Meticulously monitor EKG strips, identify arrhythmias, measure intervals, and promptly communicate critical findings to nursing staff and healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation
Prepares chart for admits
Prepares chart packets for unit use
Maintains chart in proper, complete order
Adds forms, as required
Places reports on charts
Reviews chart for signatures and completeness
Reviews orders for completion
Ensures completes charts are returned to medical records within 24 hours of patients discharge
