Job Description:

Join Barclays as CFO Business Partnering LE Team Leader role, where you provide financial expertise and support to specific business units or departments within the organisation, and act as a liaison between the finance function and various business units, helping to bridge the gap between financial data and business decisions. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide financial expertise and support to specific business units or departments within the organisation
  • Act as a liaison between the finance function and various business units, helping to bridge the gap between financial data and business decisions
  • Development and implementation of business unit financial strategies, plans and budgets
  • Development of financial models to forecast future performance, assess investment opportunities, and evaluate financial risks
  • Cross functional collaboration to provide financial insights and guidance to business unit stakeholders
  • Identification of opportunities and implementation of financial process improvements
  • Support to business units in identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks
  • Analysis and presentation of financial data to provide insights into business performance, identify trends, and support decision-making
  • Contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change
  • Plan resources, budgets, and policies
  • Manage and maintain policies/ processes
  • Deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures
  • If managing a team, define jobs and responsibilities, plan for the department's future needs and operations, counsel employees on performance and contribute to employee pay decisions/changes
  • Lead a number of specialists to influence the operations of a department
  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business
  • Collaborate with other areas of work
  • Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought
  • Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem solving processes
  • Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in a Vice President role in Finance, leading and supporting a team
  • Adept at managing senior stakeholders across various functions and businesses, even within tight deadlines
  • Strong delegation and prioritization skills
