Job Description:

Randstad is hiring for a brand-new distribution center in Balzac, Alberta. We are looking for experienced operators to join our founding team. The Job Details: Dock Stocker (Stand-Up Counterbalance). Loading and unloading trailers on the dock. Hourly pay of $20. Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM start. (Weekends OFF).

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely operate a Dock Stocker (Stand-Up Counterbalance) to efficiently load and unload transport trailers
  • Stage and organize freight on the dock floor to ensure rapid outbound processing and accurate inbound receiving
  • Verify goods using manual pick list, ensuring all product codes and quantities match shipping manifests
  • Conduct daily pre-shift equipment checks (PDI) and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately
  • Assist with manual handling duties when required, including wrapping pallets and keeping the dock area clean and debris-free

Requirements:

  • Valid Dock Stocker / Stand-Up Counterbalance certification
  • 1-2 years of recent experience operating a Dock Stocker in a warehouse or cross-dock setting
  • Must have a personal vehicle to commute to Balzac/Rocky View, AB
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical warehouse duties
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
