Job Description:

Reporting to the Checkout Manager and Team Leaders, you ensure an easy-buying experience for IKEA customers in a high volume and fast-paced environment throughout the complete payment process by ensuring the check-out service is efficient for the customer and ensuring payments are handled in a reliable, accurate and friendly way.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in the opening and closing of the check-out counter, including cash handling and deposit
support customers with enquiries and resolve escalated issues
assist customers to scan products and operate scanning equipment
fix transaction technical issues
handle cash transactions and process payments as per standard operating procedures
ensure compliance with department audits
support departmental KPIs and main actions
multi-task and support other functions within the Customer Relations Department when required.

comfortable with handling cash transactions
computer literate
able to multi-task and work under pressure

able to commit to AM/PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
