Job Description:

Cashier-Valet Parking position at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel responsible for monitoring and directing vehicle traffic, ensuring legal parking, maintaining safety and security of parking areas, communicating with guests, and delivering luxury hospitality service according to The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.

Job Responsibility:

Monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property
Ensure vehicles are legally parked and maintain smooth flow of traffic
Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas/levels
Report vehicles/safety hazards, unauthorized personnel, or potential security problems
Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors
Re-route traffic when parking facility reaches maximum capacity
Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities and local areas
Provide change to guests
Complete nightly audit of parked vehicles with vehicle claim tickets
Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
