Job Description:

Citi is looking to hire an experienced trader to trade Pan European Cash Equities. Responsibilities involve pricing and trading cash equity products, growing desk revenue, managing trading books, and working closely with sales, analysts, and control functions. The role includes opportunities for career growth, a hybrid working model, and competitive benefits.

Job Responsibility:

Successfully trade the Pan European Cash Equities as a Direct Markets trader
effectively risk manage the trading book
liaise with sales to develop the franchise, anticipating client demand
use and develop trading dashboards to improve risk management and identify revenue opportunities
work with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure governance and control infrastructure
assess risk when making business decisions and safeguard Citi’s reputation.

Requirements:

Already managing risk and an established trader on the desk
trading experience in Cash Equities or closely related products with a strong revenue-generating track record
experience of working closely with Sales, Research, and other organizations across Markets to provide market liquidity and build the Citi franchise through the monetization of client flows
clear and concise written and verbal communication
effective interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with stakeholders
strong understanding of Bloomberg, booking systems, trading protocol, closing technicalities
Excel, SQL/VBA/Python advantageous but not required.
