Job Description:

As a Retail Carts Co-worker, you'll ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for IKEA customers by assisting with loading and unloading carts, maintaining the loading zone, and ensuring adequate stock of shopping tools. Additionally, you'll support in various customer service areas, manage customer needs, and contribute to a strong workplace culture.

Job Responsibility:

Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services
maintain the loading zone by clearing away tools and waste materials
ensure adequate stock of physical shopping tools such as carts and bags
monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools
report IT issues
remove unsafe tools
address customer needs
escalate issues to a manager when needed
support customer service areas like Full Serve Hand Out, Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect
ensure accurate order handoffs in Click & Collect
ensure proper staging of products and equipment in Returns
contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements:

Lifting up to 50lbs
walking frequently
must be able to work nights & weekends
permanent role
part-time employment
physically fit due to the job nature
must pass background check and drug test
