We currently have a vacancy for a Carpenter - Senior Multi Trade Operative within the Housing Repairs Team. Works are to be carried out to tenanted and void council housing stock located in all areas of the borough. A vehicle will be provided to travel between works. Applicants should be committed individuals who are looking to make a difference to the high profile and priority services of the council.

Requirements:

  • Experience of using the appropriate tools of the trade
  • Have health and safety training
  • Be physically fit enough to carry out work, including work at heights using a ladder
  • Requirement to join out of hours standby rota
