Job Description:

Pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Perform a variety of imaging examinations while actively contributing to a positive patient experience. Must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results.

Job Responsibility:

  • Produce diagnostic images
  • Perform imaging examinations (X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, MRIs)
  • Contribute to positive patient experience
  • Assist with pre-procedure education and preparing patient
  • Collaborate with other staff to assure patient understanding
  • Assure patient is positioned properly
  • Assure EKG electrodes are properly placed
  • Assure skin is prepped and sterilized
  • Set up patient and sterile equipment
  • Scrub and assist physicians during procedures
  • Assist physician in sterile placement of invasive and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
  • Use fine motor skills to assist physician with placement/deployment/use of invasive equipment
  • Perform monitoring function throughout procedures
  • Document clinical information
  • Operate hemodynamic monitoring equipment
  • Recognize and report changes in cardiac rhythm
  • Recognize and report changes in hemodynamic waveforms
  • Accurately document flow of events
  • Perform arterial and/or venous sheath removal
  • Perform daily maintenance, quality assurance testing, equipment cleaning, and supply re-stocking
  • Effectively communicate and work cooperatively with team members, patients, families, guests, and providers
