Job Description:

Hunter AHP are currently seeking an experienced Band 8a Cancer Services Pharmacist for a fantastic locum opportunity within an NHS hospital based in West London. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong oncology experience looking to take the next step in their locum career or seeking flexibility in a dynamic cancer services team.

Job Responsibility:

Review, verify, and clinically screen chemotherapy prescriptions in line with BOPA standards
Provide specialist advice on systemic anti-cancer treatments to patients and healthcare professionals
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of chemotherapy
Participate in audits, governance meetings, and cancer services improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with local and national guidelines related to cancer therapy

Requirements:

GPhC-registered Pharmacist
BOPA SACT Passport
Minimum 12 months of oncology/SACT experience within an NHS hospital or similar setting
Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols, e-prescribing systems, and cancer pathway
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamworking skills
