We're looking for an experienced CAMO Safety Manager to join TUI Airline and take the lead in developing and maintaining our safety management processes across Continuing Airworthiness and Design Organisation. The CAMO Safety Manager also has a significant strategic role in identifying and managing the seamless implementation of the oneCAMO regulatory framework for the EASA AOCs of TUI Airline.
Job Responsibility:
Ultimate authority responsible for ensuring the effective functioning of our Safety Management System (SMS) within CAMO and DOA
Play a pivotal role in identifying, understanding and preventing safety risks across our operations
Spearhead the implementation of the oneCAMO framework for TUI Airline's EASA AOCs, conducting gap analyses, formulating strategic roadmaps and actively engaging with regulatory authorities to ensure seamless compliance and integration
Leading hazard identification, risk assessment and management within CAMO and DOA
Overseeing the implementation of safety actions aimed at mitigating risks as outlined in our safety action plan
Generating periodic reports on CAMO and DOA safety performance for the safety review board
Ensuring appropriate safety training is available and meets acceptable standards
Developing, managing and maintaining integrated safety management processes in collaboration with the AOC Safety Manager
Conducting meticulous gap analyses for the successful implementation of a harmonised management system across all TUI EASA AOCs
Engaging with relevant authorities to ensure implementation and compliance with regulatory requirements for oneCAMO
Overseeing project planning and execution to guarantee timely delivery within budget
Requirements:
Relevant engineering degree as per CAMO.A.305(c) or an additional 5 years' experience
5 years of relevant work experience (including at least 2 years from the aeronautical industry)
Solid expertise in aviation safety standards, safe operating practices and familiarity across a representative sample of aircraft types
Thorough knowledge of commercial aviation regulations including Part-145, Part-M, Part-CAMO and Part-21
Strong understanding of Human Factor principles and Safety Management Systems based on EU requirements and ICAO Annex 19
Ability to cultivate effective collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Data management, analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Self-motivated and proactive approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking)
Experience promoting a positive safety culture and expertise in risk management and safety investigation techniques
