Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity for a CAD/PDM Specialist who is passionate about driving customer success and eager to take on a Product Management role. You will be the go-to expert on Cloud PDM solutions, bridging the gap between engineering teams and product development while ensuring an exceptional user experience. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you’ll have direct influence over the product roadmap and strategy, working closely with sales, development, and design teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver impactful demonstrations of the platform to potential clients
  • Assist Sales teams in technical discussions, articulating the Cloud PDM value proposition
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client pain points and product needs
  • Build and nurture relationships with early adopters to drive advocacy
  • Own and evolve the Cloud PDM value proposition, ensuring alignment with market demand
  • Define and prioritize features, shaping the product roadmap alongside the development team
  • Translate customer challenges into detailed product requirements and user stories
  • Monitor feature adoption, gather feedback, and continuously refine the product offering
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities for differentiation and innovation

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with CAD/PDM systems such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Vault, or Onshape
  • Customer-focused with a passion for improving traditional PDM solutions
  • Understanding of automation, integrations, and ERP connectivity in streamlining engineering workflows
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Eager to transition into Product Management, leveraging expertise to shape the future of PDM solutions
  • 5+ years of experience with CAD/PDM/PLM systems (SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault, etc.)
  • Proven ability to translate engineering workflows into actionable product insights
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical, analytical approach
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Fluent English (written & spoken) and availability for calls in US Eastern/Central time zones

Nice to have:

  • Previous Product Owner/Product Manager experience
  • Familiarity with agile SaaS development methodologies
  • Experience working with engineering teams, ERP systems, and integrations
