Job Description:

A CAD Draftsman (Highways) with 10+ years of experience is responsible for preparing detailed highway and road project drawings for DPR, tender, and construction stages. The role supports highway engineers by producing accurate drawings in compliance with MoRTH and IRC standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare highway drawings including alignments, L-sections, cross-sections, and typical sections
  • Draft junction layouts, interchanges, service roads, culverts, bridges, and drainage drawings
  • Develop DPR, tender, and GFC (Good for Construction) drawings
  • Modify drawings based on design changes and review comments
  • Coordinate with highway design engineers and survey teams
  • Ensure compliance with MoRTH specifications and IRC guidelines
  • Maintain drawing registers and revision control
  • Prepare as-built drawings as required

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in highway/road projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Civil 3D
