The candidate will be a key member of Credit and Price Risk Execution in Citi Global Markets. Markets Credit and Price Risk Execution is mandated to establish and maintain a robust first line of defense designed to minimize risk within the business including leading critical control initiatives to mitigate risk in Trading, while ensuring strong governance to measure, monitor, manage and escalate key risks. This role supports the Derivatives and Securities Financing Transactions (DSFT) oversight within Citi’s Counterparty Credit Risk Framework. As a member of the Markets DSFT team, you will drive accurate identification of Derivatives and Securities Financing Transactions throughout Citi’s infrastructure.
Job Responsibility:
Work with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure that the Derivatives and Securities Financing Transactions systematic identification logic is accurate
Identification of reconciliation breaks, with prioritization and resolution
Pro-active focus on enhancing DSFT controls suite, including further automation to reduce run time and risk of manual error
Host the DSFT Identification Forum, including gathering materials from stakeholders, ensure quorum of stakeholder attendance, writing minutes and following up on actions
Report and track DSFT metrics to ensure controls are operating effectively
Drive DSFT identification through strategic infrastructure
Ensure accurate reflection of DSFT controls within the Managers Control Assessment (MCA)
Ad hoc control / audit requests as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a relevant role
Strong communicator, working with a global team and stakeholder group
Pro-active in identifying risks and escalating where appropriate
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Challenge status quo of control operations and suggest enhancements
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, especially Excel
Knowledge of Securities Financing Transactions (SFTs) will be an asset
