Job Description:

The Business Execution Officer supports the UAE banking franchise by driving strategic business initiatives, legal entity management, proactive risk controls, and transformation execution. This role entails a leadership component, partnering closely with senior management and promoting accountability in delivering on local and global objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Lead client-focused strategic initiatives on behalf of the CCO and Banking Head to enable business growth
Work in partnership with other members of the country leadership team and the CCO and Banking Head to identify and lead business initiatives
Support CCO and Banking Head in implementing and running a streamlined legal entity governance model
Ensure regulatory matters for the Legal Entity have an owner and drive accountability
Drive productivity/cost savings initiatives in partnership with senior management
Promote a culture of proactive controls
Ensure effective management of Operational Risk, Compliance Risk, and Financial Risk controls

Requirements:

6-10 years of experience in a financial services role, preferably with experience in business/product management, enterprise risk management, consulting, and/or program management
Citi-specific knowledge is a plus
Graduate/ Postgraduate degree in Business Administration or related field
Well versed in risk management and corporate governance concepts. Experience in running effective governance is a plus
General understanding of financial institutions framework and applicable regulation
