Job Description:

Ramco Innovations is hiring a Business Development & Product Manager to lead growth in our pneumatic automation solutions—especially our expanding relationship with SMC, the global leader in pneumatics. This role combines business development, technical consulting, and product leadership to help customers solve problems, improve systems, and adopt cutting-edge automation. You’ll work closely with our sales, engineering, and vendor teams to build strategies, support applications, and drive adoption of pneumatic and electric solutions across the territory.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify and pursue new business across OEMs, end users, and integrators
  • Act as a technical expert on SMC pneumatics and related automation products
  • Support application design, product configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Deliver training and demos for customers and internal teams
  • Collaborate with sales, vendor partners, and internal teams at our West Des Moines HQ to align strategies and stay connected to product and customer initiatives
  • Work closely with our Enhanced Services department on valve assembly projects, including design consultation, quoting assistance, and ensuring customer specifications are met
  • Travel regularly throughout the territory

Requirements:

  • Experience in technical sales, product support, or automation engineering
  • Strong understanding of pneumatic systems and components
  • Confident communicator with engineers and business leaders alike
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your own time and pipeline
  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or relevant experience preferred

Nice to have:

Familiarity with SMC products is a plus
