Job Description:

The Business Development Manager will lead the Paper Category team, develop business results, and inspire growth while driving sustainability and innovation in IKEA's paper-related businesses.

Job Responsibility:

Lead a team of 12 people
develop a high-performing supplier base
execute category business plan and action plans
identify new business and innovation opportunities
implement compliance to working methods and regulations
establish cost budgets and ensure optimal resource use
contribute to category business plans and sourcing strategy.

Requirements:

Proven excellent leadership record
solution-oriented with strong business acumen
good knowledge and understanding in purchasing and logistics, specifically manufacturing and cost-drivers
strong stakeholder management skills
excellent understanding of business tools and systems
good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
ability to take and execute decisions
experience from paper industry is a strong advantage.
