Job Description:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting Sales & Marketing efforts, maximizing revenue, handling guest relations, promoting the Marriott brand, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.

Job Responsibility:

Contact appropriate individual or department to resolve guest calls, requests or problems
use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott
determine and give complimentaries to guests
promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points
perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing
assist management in training and motivating employees
ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
protect company assets
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
