We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in Automation services or automation projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the automation industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and market dynamics. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through the sale of automation services and solutions. This role requires strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a passion for driving innovation in the automation sector.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales of automation services and solutions
Identify and qualify leads, prospects, and strategic partnerships in key industries
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
Lead the development and delivery of compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations
Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in automation
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends
Execute sales plans to penetrate new markets, manage international sales activities
Provide comprehensive solutions, collaborate with services teams, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Requirements:
Minimum 6 to 10 years experience in Industrial Automation
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
MBA preferred
Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management, with a focus on automation services or projects
Strong understanding of automation technologies, including robotics, AI, machine learning, and IoT, and their application across various industries
Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
