We’re partnered with a dynamic Cyber Insurtech client, seeking a capable and highly driven Business Development Manager to join their expanding sales team. This role is centred on strategic new business development within the Insurance sector - identifying opportunities, shaping tailored solutions, and driving sustainable revenue growth. The successful candidate will be a commercially astute, relationship-led sales professional with a proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, influence outcomes, and deliver results in a dynamic, high-performing environment. An ideal candidate could already be over-achieving against sales target in their current new business Insurance role, but perhaps be frustrated by a capped Ote, or wanting to work as a key player in more dynamic high-growth start-up with an exceptional USP, where individual sales success will be highly valued and rewarded.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with target Specialty Insurance Clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients
Develop strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions and exceptional client service
Represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities
Requirements:
Exceptional success in a focused new business sales role, to the Insurance sector
Consistent track record of overachieving sales targets
Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling style
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Able to work in Central London three days per week
