Job Description:

We are now seeking a Sales Manager (New Business Development) to help expand our footprint across the region. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across your designated region. You will act as a consultative partner to potential customers, understanding their operational challenges and demonstrating the value of Helios Group’s SaaS solutions. This role is ideal for a driven salesperson who enjoys autonomous work, thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, and is excited to help build the commercial foundation of a Valsoft portfolio company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute a new business acquisition strategy across Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and France
  • Identify, engage, and close net-new customers in transportation & logistics or wealth management sectors
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, and closing
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers (Operations, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, C-Level)
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and clearly communicate value and ROI
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Leadership, and Customer Success
  • Maintain accurate pipeline updates and forecasts in the CRM system
  • Represent Helios Group / Portfolio Company at industry events, client meetings, and trade fairs throughout the region
  • Provide market insights to support strategic decisions and product development
  • Contribute to the long-term development of the commercial organization, with future leadership potential

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in B2B software sales, ideally SaaS
  • Background or strong exposure in: Transportation & Logistics, TMS, supply chain software OR Wealth Management, financial software, treasury, banking tech
  • Proven success in New Business Development and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with consultative, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English (additional French or Dutch is an advantage)
  • Highly self-motivated, structured, and comfortable working remotely across multiple countries

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a private-equity/portfolio-company environment
  • Understanding of software implementation processes or integrations
  • Established network in logistics & transportation or financial services
  • Experience selling across multiple national and international markets
