A fast-growing BIM consultancy based in Surrey is entering an exciting phase of expansion. They’re well-established with strong technical delivery and an excellent reputation across the Construction sector. Now, they’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development professional to help accelerate growth. This is not a corporate, process-heavy BD role. It’s hands-on, strategic and influential. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, shaping outreach campaigns, building relationships and turning conversations into secured projects.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute BD and marketing strategies
Lead proactive outreach campaigns (phone, email, LinkedIn)
Arrange and attend client meetings
Build relationships across Contractors, Architects and Design firms
Prepare bid submissions and tender packs
Identify and convert new business opportunities
Requirements:
2–3+ years’ experience in a BD / Bids role within Construction
Strong understanding of the Construction sector
Existing industry contacts preferred
Confident communicator – written and verbal
Commercially driven and self-motivated
Understanding of BIM / Revit (non-technical background preferred)
Nice to have:
