Job Description:

The Business Coordinator role at IKEA involves a broad range of responsibilities including onboarding and offboarding, internal communications, event planning, administrative support, and enabling leaders and teams within the Digital Hub in Bangalore. The role focuses on engagement, community building, improving administrative tools and processes, and collaborating within the Business Coordination team.

Job Responsibility:

Onboarding and offboarding
internal communications, community building activities and event planning
administrative support and practical tasks to offload managers and teams
active role in enabling leaders and teams to become self-sufficient
continuous focus on improving administrative processes and tools
close collaboration within the Business Coordination team.

Requirements:

A degree with minimum 5 years’ experience working as Executive Assistant to Senior Leadership (or similar roles)
willingness to work toward an Executive and broader Team in a fast-paced Digital environment
digital savvy with relevant experience of bringing people together in an online and offline, customer-focused environment
passionate about engagement and building community
pro-active, service minded and result oriented
experience in building and maintaining relationships with employees and suppliers
team player with ability to share ideas and collaborate
excellent written and spoken English within a Business Environment
striving towards continuous improvement and innovation
flexibility with resilience, drive, and self-motivation
excellent communication skills and comfort speaking in front of larger groups
meaningful engagement with different audiences.

Nice to have:

Additional European languages
experience at IKEA store or another tech/start-up.
