The Business Analyst contractor will work with internal teams to analyze business needs, evaluate current processes, and support the development of technical solutions that improve efficiency and overall performance. This role partners closely with project teams, end users, and technical staff to translate business requirements into clear and actionable documentation.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze and evaluate business requirements in partnership with personnel across departments
Conduct discovery sessions to understand business needs and translate them into detailed user stories
Review business processes from beginning to end and identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement
Document business needs and convert them into clear system requirements specifications
Identify opportunities to improve business efficiency through enhanced processes or new technical solutions
Provide recommendations on system upgrades, software enhancements, and modifications
Support strategy development related to process optimization
Assist both end users and software developers by providing clarification on requirements and system behavior
Troubleshoot software issues and support resolution efforts
Conduct basic hardware or software repairs as needed
Configure software systems in alignment with documented requirements
Prepare and deliver reports related to software analysis or system performance
Requirements:
Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role
Strong ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements
Familiarity with user story creation and Agile project environments
Ability to troubleshoot software issues and support system configuration
Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills
