Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Hempstead, New York. This is a long-term contract position that requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in gathering requirements, performing gap analyses, and facilitating effective communication across various stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis
Conduct gap analyses to identify discrepancies between current processes and desired outcomes
Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to ensure clarity and alignment
Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel and Jira for data analysis, tracking, and reporting
Work with Ellucian Banner and IAM systems to support business needs and ensure effective data governance
Implement and manage AWS IAM solutions to strengthen identity and access management
Facilitate AB testing and provide performance insights to support decision-making
Drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes
Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
Build and maintain effective communication channels between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on gap analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and data analysis
Experience with Ellucian Banner and IAM systems, including AWS IAM
Familiarity with data governance practices and frameworks
Proven ability to manage change in dynamic environments
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Atlassian Jira
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Ability to perform AB testing and interpret results to drive business decisions.
