Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in CCH Axcess to join our team in Iselin, New Jersey. In this role, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert for the platform, driving system enhancements, process optimization, and data integration efforts. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to collaborate across teams and contribute to the success of tax operations and enterprise automation strategies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for CCH Axcess, managing modules like Tax, Practice, Workflow, and Document
  • Translate business requirements into system-specific configurations and enhancements to improve tax workflows
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure stable platform performance and compliance
  • Conduct process analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend automation opportunities
  • Develop detailed documentation including process maps, data flow diagrams, and system requirements
  • Support the integration of CCH Axcess with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data transfers
  • Analyze operational data to create reports and dashboards that monitor workflow performance and user adoption
  • Define and track KPIs for platform modules while identifying trends to guide improvements
  • Ensure all data and integrations comply with governance, security, and confidentiality standards
  • Foster collaboration between tax, technical, and compliance teams to align enterprise strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in a hybrid Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Application role within a detail-oriented services environment
  • Extensive knowledge of CCH Axcess or iManage, including configuration, workflows, and integrations
  • Proficiency in developing APIs, data mapping, and workflow automation for enterprise systems
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Azure Data Factory, or Power Automate
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert complex datasets into actionable insights
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with tax data processes and enterprise compliance requirements
