Job Description:

Join a new Financial Services Data Repository project as a Business Analyst, working on a major initiative for a leading banking institution. You will serve as the critical link between business stakeholders and the IT development team.

Job Responsibility:

Gathering and analyzing business requirements from various financial service units
translating them into functional specifications and user stories for the development team
designing functional solutions that meet business needs while aligning with the target architecture and data governance standards
acting as an interface between end-users and technical teams
preparing and executing functional test plans (UAT)
supporting deployment and change management by creating user documentation, training materials, and conducting training sessions

Requirements:

Approximately 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role)
at least 2 years specifically in data management or repository projects within the financial services industry
solid understanding of banking or financial services processes
experience with risk management, client data, or regulatory projects is a strong plus
familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts or tools (e.g., Semarchy) and data governance practices
comfortable with SQL and analyzing data sets
able to understand data models
experience writing user stories and using collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence or similar) in an Agile environment
excellent requirements gathering, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
professional training or certification in business analysis (CBAP, etc.) is a plus

Nice to have:

Professional training or certification in business analysis (CBAP, etc.)
experience with risk management, client data, or regulatory projects
