Job Description:

Box Office Assistants act as representatives for Creative Alliance while assisting patrons with ticketing needs, acting as a source of information, and carrying out day-to-day box office operations. Box Office Assistants also provide general administrative and patron services support. This position mainly consists of evening and weekend shifts during performances, screenings, and other special events.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process ticket and donation transactions for all live and virtual events
  • Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with care and confidentiality
  • Enter data, create reports and queries, and maintain Salesforce/Patron Manager database
  • Complete daily deposit and close out procedures with accuracy
  • Greet all visitors and provide excellent customer service
  • Answer and direct all incoming phone calls and voicemails
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns
  • address with appropriate staff
  • Maintain tidiness of building exterior, lobby, front desk, and main office
  • Record daily count of visitors to Creative Alliance
  • Assist other staff with administrative tasks as needed, including event clean up

Requirements:

  • Outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with people
  • Customer service experience
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Experience managing multi-line phones
  • Enthusiasm for Creative Alliance’s mission, programs, and workshops

Nice to have:

  • Patron Services database experience, especially Salesforce or Patron Manager
  • Ability to speak Spanish
