A family office in Century City is seeking a temporary Bookkeeper to support financial operations during an ERP implementation. This role is focused on transaction coding and basic monthly reporting, with some catch-up work required ahead of new system launch.
Job Responsibility:
Code transactions in QuickBooks Desktop
Assist with budget reporting and expense reporting to budget
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Manage and categorize 500–600 transactions per month, primarily personal credit card charges
Utilize BREX and QuickBooks for bill pay and transaction management (training provided)
Support data cleanup and basic bookkeeping tasks throughout ERP implementation
Coordinate with the accounting director and external ERP implementation team
Requirements:
2–3 years of bookkeeping experience
Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry/reconciliation
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial data
Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Experience with bank reconciliations and transaction management
Ability to handle tedious and detail-oriented tasks with accuracy
Familiarity with bill payment processes and personal account tracking
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Flexibility to work a consistent schedule initially, then transition to part-time hours as needed
