Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-time Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Brighton, Utah. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process transactions and ensure timely payments and collections
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial entries and reporting
Prepare financial statements and reports for internal review
Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial documentation
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ability to perform bank reconciliations with precision
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members
Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract role
