We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Vancouver, Washington. In this role, you will handle essential financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance across accounts. This position requires expertise in bookkeeping and familiarity with financial software to manage day-to-day operations efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Prepare and process payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments
Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track financial transactions
Reconcile accounts to ensure consistency and compliance with financial standards
Generate financial reports and summaries for management review
Assist with contract administration and cost accounting processes
Review and verify invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
Support the preparation of financial notes and projections
Collaborate with team members to streamline office functions and improve efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of financial processes
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing data
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
Ability to perform bank and account reconciliations with high accuracy
Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed records and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address financial discrepancies
Nice to have:
