Our client who is the UK’s largest and leading independent systems integrator of Building Energy Management Systems is looking for an experienced Smart Building Project Manager, who is looking to join a high-performing team delivering complex, multi-million-pound BMS projects in Central London. My client is looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled BMS Smart Building Project Manager to lead the delivery of innovative Smart Building projects within their Major Projects Division in Central London.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive the integration of Smart Building and MSI solutions into building systems
  • Provide technical leadership in system design, software configuration, and commissioning
  • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to commissioning and handover, ensuring seamless integration of Smart Building solutions & Building Management Systems (BMS) technologies
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver the projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing BMS, Smart Building, or building automation projects
  • An in-depth knowledge of MSI roles, protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, MQTT), and naming conventions (e.g., Project Haystack, Brick Schema, or client-specific standards)
  • A strong understanding of Smart Building & BMS architectures, control philosophies, and integration principles
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
