IKEA Nottingham are looking to welcome new Swedish Food Market & Bistro Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking Food & Beverage team. Got a passion for food, fun, and all things Swedish? Job Responsibility:

As a Swedish Food Market (SFM) & Bistro Assistant you will report to one of the Food Managers or Team Leaders and work alongside them in the food area to help to create a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable, and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker
The SFM & Bistro is a safety-first, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail for all things safety and efficient multi-tasking to ensure IKEA remains a safe place for people to shop, work and have fun
Following a cleaning schedule and making sure the cleanliness of the SFM & Bistro is to a high standard
Serving the customers in the Bistro with hot dogs, plant dogs and all things delicious one day to serving the customers on the tills in the SFM the next

Requirements:

While previous kitchen experience can be beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work
Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team
Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy
Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older
