Job Description:

Are you an experienced Biomedical Scientist with expertise in Immunology, seeking a new locum position in South London? We have a fantastic opportunity offering competitive pay and flexibility! As a Biomedical Scientist in Immunology and Virology, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services. Responsibilities include conducting tests, processing samples, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining quality control.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conducting immunology and virology lab tests, including PCR, ELISA, and serological assays
  • Preparing and processing patient samples for analysis, ensuring high standards of accuracy
  • Collaborating with senior staff to interpret results and provide expert guidance
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring all procedures meet regulatory standards
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control measures
  • Working closely within a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Immunology and Virology, particularly with laboratory testing techniques such as PCR, ELISA, and viral culture
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory practices, specimen preparation, and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • A commitment to providing accurate, high-quality diagnostic services
  • Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
