Billing Operations Specialist

• Execute global billing in line with customer contracts, generating invoices and credit notes accurately and on time
• Handle billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly while coordinating with teams like Sales and Customer Success
• Assist with month-end close activities, including revenue estimation, reconciliations, and compliance checks
• Monitor billing exceptions and collaborate with IT, Product, or Sales Operations to fix system issues
• Support automation projects to streamline billing workflows
• Analyze billing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Maintain clear documentation and create training resources for billing processes
• Participate in audits and compliance activities related to billing controls.

• Experience in billing, finance, revenue operations, or related functions (2+ years preferred, but all relevant experience considered)
• Familiarity with billing or ERP platforms such as Salesforce Billing, NetSuite, or similar
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions) and comfort working with data
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Clear communication skills, able to work well with technical and non-technical teams
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and SOX compliance is a bonus but not mandatory.
