Billing Coordinator

• Accurately process and generate invoices in accordance with client billing procedures and organizational policies
• Review and verify billing data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established nonprofit guidelines and standards
• Maintain and update billing records within the organization's accounting systems to ensure clean audit trails
• Respond promptly to inquiries from clients and internal teams regarding invoices, payments, and account balances
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist in following up with clients regarding overdue balances to resolve discrepancies effectively
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate revenue reporting and compliance with nonprofit financial regulations
• Provide support for special projects as needed or assigned by the finance team, including process improvements or audits

• Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, or other related finance roles
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing billing discrepancies
