Job Description:

We are seeking a Bilingual Payroll Specialist (English/Spanish) to join our client’s team on a contract basis in Chehalis, Washington. This role will provide crucial support to the payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely processing for a diverse employee population. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable communicating in both English and Spanish.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process weekly and biweekly payroll accurately and in accordance with company policies and regulations
  • Review and verify timecards, hours worked, PTO, and other pay-related data
  • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries in both English and Spanish
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies or documentation gaps
  • Support audits and reporting requests as needed
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee payroll information at all times

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience (multi-state preferred)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices
  • Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
