Job Description:

Manage IKEA's business intelligence department to deliver enhanced BI reports for business growth. Responsible for analyzing business needs, managing the BI team, providing strategic and operational insights, and evaluating retail performance through data analysis.

Job Responsibility:

Manage AF IKEA's business intelligence department
Deliver enhanced BI reports to help business growth
Analyze business needs and manage the BI team to deliver analysis and reports
Provide meaningful and actionable strategic and operational insights by leveraging data assets
Secure multi-dimensional view of the business when conducting analysis
Provide data analysis and insights for MPD studies
Plan and design automated dashboards based on business needs
Develop automated dashboards for management team and store needs
Maintain business analysis BI reports database
Create data access policy and manage user access to business reports
Supervise automation of daily, weekly, and monthly management information reports
Develop new reports and focus on continuous improvement of existing reports
Support testing and automation of management information/business intelligence reports
Support with adhoc information, analysis for business functions and stores
Create Business excellence portal Matrix for all reports
Prioritize readymade reports and create training plan for end users
Define methods to source, collect, sort, analyze and share customer data
Analyze data from digital sources to gain insights of IKEA consumers
Manage, direct, evaluate and develop Business Analyst team members
Onboard and coach business analysts

Requirements:

Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Experience in stakeholder and change management
Strong Analytical skills and knowledge of Power BI
Knowledge of Microsoft Navision table structures and solid retail business acumen
Advanced analytical skills with deep expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Service)
Skilled in DAX, data modeling (star schemas, performance optimization), and data transformation using Power Query (M language)
Proficient in SQL with working knowledge of Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS) and/or Azure BI tools
Experience with report security (row-level security, governance, dataset management, refresh strategies)
Strong sense of visual design, data storytelling, and user-centric dashboard design

Nice to have:

Hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Analysis Services
Experience with MSBI Suite (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) for hybrid BI environments
Knowledge of Python, R, or other scripting languages for advanced analytics, automation, or custom visuals
