We are seeking a promotion-focused, highly organized, and polished Beverage Program Marketing + Activations Manager to support IMI and our global hotel client. The Beverage Program Marketing + Activations Manager will collaborate closely with IMI’s Director of Accounts and the client’s brand marketing and operations teams to enhance the visibility, promotion, and overall guest engagement of beverage programs. This person will accomplish this by implementing beverage marketing initiatives, activations, and promotions across the client’s hotel portfolio, including their global loyalty program. This position will also be responsible for managing beverage data, including but not limited to beverage menus, online marketing, and other beverage content for the client’s internal and external beverage marketing platforms. This person will lead beverage program ideation, develop and deliver internal and external presentations, coordinate and manage program components, and support training and launches. At the same time, this person will track performance through key metrics and post-program analysis, along with maintaining other tasks, and functions as directed. This person will update/establish/execute a robust tracker of beverage promotions and should be comfortable with and excited by taking a general idea or concept and bringing it to life in a way that appeases all parties involved, while enhancing the beverage program. This person must be well-rounded and able to hold their own with Senior Leadership, Stakeholders, and internal departments while leading and collaborating with vendors and property-level Managers.
Job Responsibility:
Compile and present relevant beverage trends and consumer data
Coordinate feature and promotion projects from ideation through implementation, acting as the Client’s agent with multiple participating stakeholders
Track property innovation suggestions to assist with an ROI
Create targeted, seasonal beverage promotions, taking them from concept to activation, developing and executing all promotion pieces, and tracking performance and effectiveness
Ideate and support restaurant and bar activations for Grand Openings, Conferences, and Industry events
Manage administrative marketing projects for the IMI Director of Accounts as directed
Lead and manage digital resources, including website content and development
Developing and managing multiple project timelines simultaneously
Writing and assisting with internal client communications, such as emails and PowerPoint presentations
Pulling periodic reports, evaluating data, and presenting findings and data to IMI and client operations team. Includes performing audits, creating decks, evaluating pricing, product assortment, etc
Perform other beverage-related duties and tasks as directed
Travel as needed 40%+
Requirements:
Advanced knowledge and professional working experience in developing, deploying, and assessing national marketing programs (preferably food and beverage-oriented)
Proven working experience in beverage trend spotting and beverage data analysis, staying current with present and future trends
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, Hospitality, or a related field
or equivalent working experience
Professional expertise in cocktails, spirits, and a variety of beverages (i.e., beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages)
Solid understanding of developing programs for working restaurants and bars
Experience creating and presenting presentations to groups of all sizes in-person and virtually
Experience deploying large-scale materials to personnel of all levels
Proficient in Excel, PPT, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft tools
Experience running promotions & activations at the unit level
Strong presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and balance priorities
Ability to manage communication and timely correspondence with multiple stakeholders and parties simultaneously
Works well under pressure and with tight deadlines
Flexible and able to work with different management styles
