Job Description:

Responsible for beverage operations and staff on a daily basis. Areas of responsibility include beverage service in the Restaurants and Bars. Position assists with promoting the lounge, menu planning, maintains standards, assists servers on the floor during peak periods and manages property liquor inventories and controls. Strives to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.

Job Responsibility:

Manage beverage operations and staff daily
Oversee beverage service in Restaurants and Bars
Assist with promoting the lounge and menu planning
Maintain standards and assist servers during peak periods
Manage property liquor inventories and controls
Ensure guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining operating budget
Enforce all legal obligations professionally and consistently
Determine training needs and implement training plans
Assist in other outlets when needed to strengthen the food and beverage team

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
Knowledge of beverage control including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, costs controls
Understanding of budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports
Experience in inventory management
Food handling and sanitation knowledge
