Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs. This role is crucial to supporting employees and ensuring that the organization’s benefits offerings remain compliant, competitive, and accessible. The Benefits Administrator will play a key role in facilitating open enrollment, managing vendor relationships, and addressing employee benefit inquiries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, wellness programs, and more
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits enrollment, claims, and eligibility
  • Prepare and maintain records of benefits-related documentation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA
  • Assist in the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment process, including communications and vendor coordination
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Liaise with benefits providers to resolve employee claims or billing discrepancies
  • Develop and distribute educational materials to help employees understand their benefits options and make informed decisions
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to evaluate and optimize the company’s benefits offerings based on employee feedback and market trends
  • Stay informed of regulations and market trends to ensure the organization's benefit programs are competitive and compliant

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR-related roles
  • Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits regulations, including ACA, COBRA, and FMLA
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HRIS systems
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Certification in Benefits Administration (e.g., CEBS) is a plus
