Job Description:

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Aruma, you’ll play a vital role in improving the quality of life for people with disabilities by developing and implementing positive behaviour support plans. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work closely with individuals, families, and support networks to create meaningful outcomes that encourage independence, inclusion, and dignity.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and deliver evidence-based behaviour support plans
Work closely with individuals, families, carers, and other professionals
Provide training and guidance to support staff
Regularly review and adjust plans based on progress and evolving needs
Advocate for the rights of individuals

Requirements:

Background in psychology, social work, or a related field
Familiarity with positive behaviour support frameworks and practices
Experience working with individuals with complex behaviours
Excellent communication skills
