Job Description:

Bob Howard Toyota is part of the fast-growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail. We are looking to add a qualified Business Development Center Agent to our Sales team. This position answers inquiries from customers about vehicles through email, text and phone calls with the goal of guiding a customer through the vehicle research and selection process, and scheduling appointments for the sales team. We are well known for our rapid growth and focus on our employees. We believe in providing great service to our customers, improving the lives of our customers and employees through great leadership, a culture of service and a love of learning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Communicate effectively with our customers via Phone, Internet or Text
  • Respond to customer inquiries immediately
  • Learn and follow the scripting required by our process
  • Set appointments for our customers
  • Study, learn and understand the vehicles and services we offer
  • Learn and maintain a thorough knowledge of Dealership policies, products and procedures
  • Establish personal goals that are consistent with the productivity requirements of the Dealership

Requirements:

  • Can handle high volume sales calls and emails
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Auto dealership Internet or Business Development Center (BDC) experience is preferred but not required
  • All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include: background checks, MVR, and drug testing in order to qualify for employment
