This position is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while maintaining full compliance with Washington State liquor laws and company standards. The Bartender plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere and ensuring each guest receives prompt, professional, and memorable service.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Washington State Law and company policies
Enter drink orders accurately and immediately into the POS system, collect payment, and provide correct change
Maintain accurate accountabilities for all sales, discounts, and promotions in accordance with cash handling procedures
Mix, garnish, and serve beverages following established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
Serve wine, draft beer, and bottled beer with consistency and attention to quality
Arrange and maintain bar displays to ensure an organized, clean, and visually appealing workspace
Interact with guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner while building rapport with repeat customers
Verify guest identification and ensure legal age compliance for alcohol service
Open, manage, and close guest tabs efficiently throughout the shift
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and glassware at all times
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and teamwork with guests, coworkers, and leadership
Adhere to all ASM Global, SMG, and accesso ShoWare Center policies related to cash handling, food safety, and alcohol service
Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational success
Provide fast, attentive, and courteous service in a high-volume environment
Create a positive and engaging guest experience that encourages repeat visits
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to questions or concerns
Maintain professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude at all times
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years bartending experience is required
Must have current and valid Food Handler’s and Class 12 mixology permits
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Position requires prolonged standing, constant moving, occasional climbing of stairs and lifting up to 35lbs regularly
Communicate, both written and verbal, in English is required
Nice to have:
Experience in an arena environment is a plus
