Job Description:

The Barista role involves preparing food and coffee beverages, maintaining work areas, providing exceptional guest service, securing financial transactions, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The job requires physical endurance, effective communication, and a commitment to professionalism.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare food and coffee beverages
Maintain work areas
Provide customer service
Assist individuals with disabilities
Secure financial transactions such as counting bank at end of shift
Develop positive working relationships
Inspect tools and equipment for defects
Clean and sanitize equipment
Follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Complete opening and closing duties
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Input orders into cash register system and collect payment
Take orders and prepare food and coffee beverages
Bus coffee cart areas and tables
Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment
Obtain change required for expected business level
Count bank at end of shift
Follow company and safety policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
