Job Description:

Ensure staff coordination, guest satisfaction, and smooth banquet operations. Responsibilities include setup, cleanliness, quality control, training, and compliance with policies.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure staff is working together as a team
Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify any deficiencies
Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met
Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements
Set up banquet area/room, ensuring cleanliness and proper set up of furniture/equipment
Inspect and maintain table set-ups for cleanliness, neatness and alignment with requirements
Document pertinent information in appropriate logbook
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Follow company and safety policies and procedures
Report accidents and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Protect company assets
Welcome and assist guests
Assist individuals with disabilities
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Adhere to quality expectations and standards
Perform reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
