Job Description:

Banquet Supervisor position at The Westin Ningbo, responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages for banquet events, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with employee training, and ensuring exceptional guest service in a wellness-focused hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverage
Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables/carts and cordial carts
Setup meal and reception buffets, taste panels, individual event functions
Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
Answer questions on menu selections
Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability
Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Monitor and maintain cleanliness of assigned tables
Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
