Job Description:

Oversee banquet operations including staff management, event arrangement, and customer service; Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards; Assist in employee coaching and development

Job Responsibility:

Ensure staff is working together as a team
Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify any deficiencies
Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met
Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements
Set up banquet area/room, ensuring cleanliness and proper set up of furniture/equipment
Inspect and maintain table set-ups for cleanliness and neatness
Resolve any problems
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
Follow safety and security policies and procedures
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Welcome guests and anticipate their needs
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
