Job Description:

The Banquet Manager at Marriott Executive Apartments Bengaluru UB City is responsible for supervising daily restaurant operations, menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring guest and employee satisfaction. This role involves managing teams, compliance with laws and standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Supervises and manages employees
manages all day-to-day operations
maintains service and sanitation standards
reviews staffing levels
leads, influences, and encourages team members
builds mutual trust and respect among team members
ensures compliance with food and beverage policies, standards and procedures
ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations
ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
ensures compliance with liquor laws
provides exceptional customer service
improves service quality through guidance and feedback
handles guest problems and complaints
ensures educational needs of staff are addressed
ensures recognition takes place for good performance
supervises daily shift operations in absence of Assistant Restaurant Manager
oversees financial aspects including purchasing and payment of invoices

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
