Job Description:

A Top 100 national law firm is seeking a Senior/Principal Associate for its Banking & Finance team in Birmingham. The role focuses on asset-based lending, working with a highly regarded national team on varied and complex transactions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead drafting and negotiating facility agreements
  • draft security documents
  • handle intercreditor arrangements and bespoke precedents
  • manage restatements, waivers and restructurings
  • work with borrowers, lenders, and investors
  • collaborate across restructuring, litigation, and corporate teams

Requirements:

  • Confident and experienced banking lawyer
  • strong background in asset based lending or general lending work
  • desire to deepen expertise in asset based lending
  • enjoy working closely with clients
  • ability to mentor junior colleagues
